## CLIENT Overview

Loop Golf is a cutting-edge golf booking platform designed to modernize the tee-time reservation experience. The goal was to create a seamless, intuitive, and highly engaging platform that would allow golfers to book tee times instantly, track their location on the course, and interact with fellow players through live-streaming features.

With a vision to make golf bookings as easy as ordering a ride-share, Loop Golf partnered with Spiral Scout to build a responsive web platform and mobile app with Apple Watch integration, real-time location tracking, and interactive streaming capabilities.



## Goals

- **Develop a web and mobile app** that enables users to search and book tee times at multiple golf courses with ease.
- **Integrate Apple Watch functionality** to provide real-time notifications, score tracking, and player assistance.
- **Implement location tracking** to enhance the overall golfing experience, including on-course navigation and player coordination.

 Challenges Seamless Apple Watch Integration for On-Course Assistance

 

The client wanted golfers to receive real-time updates, notifications, and game insights directly on their Apple Watch, reducing the need to check their phones during play.



 

 Solutions Bring the Experience to the Apple Watch

 

We developed an Apple Watch companion app, allowing users to receive booking confirmations, check their tee time schedule, track scores, and access GPS-based course data—all from their wrist.



 

 

 Challenges Complex Tee Time Aggregation Across Multiple Golf Courses

 

The platform needed to support tee-time booking across various golf courses, each with different pricing structures, availability, and reservation policies. Aggregating this data in real-time while ensuring smooth transactions was a major challenge.



 

 Solutions Scrape and Aggregate

 

Spiral Scout built a robust back-end system using GraphQL to fetch, process, and display real-time tee time availability from multiple courses. The system dynamically adjusted pricing, location, and timing based on each course’s availability.

The client wanted to make golf more interactive by allowing players to share live moments, broadcast their shots, and interact with their audience in real time.
