## About the Project

Tania B is a luxury kitchenware brand known for its elegant and high-end culinary products, catering to both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and business-to-business (B2B) markets but mostly in Brazil. Their audience includes design-conscious home chefs, high-end event planners, and corporate clients seeking exclusive kitchenware. While the brand had already carved out a strong niche, its online presence wasn’t fully delivering the seamless, high-end experience customers expected. The client approached Spiral Scout to modernize their Shopify Plus website and re-introduce the brand to the US market—all within a tight deadline.

Our mission was to blend style with functionality, creating an e-commerce platform that showcased the brand’s premium aesthetic while also improving engagement and conversion rates.

 Challenges Outdated UX and Visual Inconsistencies

 

The existing design didn’t fully reflect the brand’s luxury appeal, and inconsistencies in styling impacted user trust. There were legacy interface bugs in their visuals that the team was struggling to address.

Our design team introduced a refined and cohesive aesthetic, balancing minimalism and elegance to reinforce the high-end positioning of the brand.



 

 

 Challenges Performance Bottlenecks Slowing the Customer Experience

 

Shopify is known for having slow page load but TB was in a different ballpark. The site had slow load times, especially for key pages like product listings and checkout.



 

 Solutions Speed Up Shopify Plus

 

We first proposed changes that were attached to benchmarked metrics so we have a baseline for where we started. Then we optimized image delivery, streamlined their Shopify Plus apps, and improved caching strategies, resulting in page loads going from 9 seconds down to 2 seconds or faster.



 

 

 Challenges Complex Checkout and Cart Issues

 

Customers faced unnecessary friction when adding items to their carts and completing purchases.



 

 Solutions UX Conversion Improvements
